15 Dazzling Date Designs

Posted on

Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to unload 15 dazzling date designs for couples who desire a creative dating flair. This is your chance to break away from the routine dating cycle of dinner and a movie, by incorporating creative and romantic designs. Of course feel free to add a bit of your own creativity.

Here are a couple of ideas to get you started.

Encounter the French Riviera

Download some French music (Or just tell your date its from France), a blanket that won’t itch you when you sit on it, a knife, an ice-cooler, a block of your favorite cheese, crackers-to enhance the flavor of the cheese, a bottle of your favorite beverage and a book on beginning French. Drive to a nearby park, find a large shade tree to sit under and spread your blanket. Look into each other’s eyes reciting newly learned French words between bites of crackers and cheese. Don’t forget to play French romantic music in the background.

BONUS: France boasts of producing close to 250 cheese varieties. Bring several varieties and try them all! http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/27/travel/things-french-do-best/

Do the Bookworm

Drive to your favorite local bookstore, grab a large coffee, latte or cappuccino and peruse through several books you find stimulating. Set a time limit and spend the first several minutes alone, on a quest for books. Once the time limit is up or when you can’t carry any more books, find a cozy spot to share your discoveries with one another and why you chose the books you did.

BONUS: Consider sharing your favorite childhood books, books you’d like to read in the near future and books with obtuse titles. Not sure what ‘obtuse’ means? You can find a book that let’s you know.
